Weekly Planning Overview | digital Book of Shadows | Goodnotes

Need help getting your week aligned with your magick? It's easy with the Weekly Overview template to plan out both mundane and magickal tasks and keep them aligned with the energy of the cosmos.

In this video, I briefly go over how to use the weekly planning section of The Organized Witch's Digital Book of Shadows Planner in Goodnotes. Read on below for more detail on some of the tips covered - including adding and duplicating digital stickers and capturing notes about personal transits or other factors affecting the week ahead.

How To Add Digital Stickers to your Book of Shadows in Goodnotes on an Ipad

After opening the Book of Shadows in Goodnotes, navigate to the page where you want to add the stickers and do the following

  1. Open the folder window: pull up from the bottom of the screen & drag to the right
  2. Click & drag the sticker sheet onto the page
  3. TIP: Before you crop out a sticker, touch/hold on the sheet, and select Share/Copy. The sheet is now saved to your clipboard and you can easily paste it back in to crop out another sticker
  4. To crop out individual stickers, touch/hold the sticker sheet, select Crop. Choose Rectangular (crop handles for rectangular selections) or Freehand (marquis crop tool), select the image or portion of the image you want to crop out and click DONE
  5. Now you can resize and move the image wherever you'd like it on the page.
To Duplicate a Sticker after you crop it out
  1. Touch/Hold the sticker, select Share/Copy
  2. Touch/Hold on your page, select Paste
OR (for an easier method)
  1. Touch/Hold the sticker & drag to a new place on your page
  2. A copy will automatically appear when you remove your stylus from the page
How to Capture Personal Transits & other Info Affecting Your Week
  1. After looking up your personal transits (I like to use the personal transit calculator on www.astrolada.com), write up some notes using the pen tool on the blank facing page of the Weekly Overview layout.
  2. Resize Your Notes: I tend to write too big, so after writing the notes, you can resize them. Using the Lasso Tool, draw an outline around your notes. Touch/Hold the selection and click Resize. Now you can drag the sizing handle to shrink them. Move the resized notes to where you'd like to place them on the page.

I hope you find this quick tutorial helpful in getting you started with planning your magickal week in The Organized Witch's Digital Book of Shadows. I really find it helpful to plan out both magickal and mundane tasks & priorities at the beginning of each week. It also helps to know what energies will be affecting me so that I can actually plan for it and not feel out of sorts all week long.

Happy Planning!
